Over the last few months we have had a willow artist in school working with the pupils on various projects.
In KS2, each pupil braved horrid December weather conditions to spend time with Rachel outside creating a 6ft diameter dome structure in the school grounds. It took the children 2 days to build the basic structure and we are now eagerly awaiting it growing and developing. This should be done by the summer months.
In Reception, the pupils worked inside to create mini-beasts out of willow and multi-coloured tissue paper. They look stunning in our hall.
