Parent/Carer Questionnaire Results 2014

Parent/Carer Questionnaire Learning, Safety & Behaviour June 2014

St John’s regularly consults parents/carers on a number of issues (at least once a term) and action is always taken as a result of your views. This term our focus is Teaching & Learning/Maths/Reading/Behaviour, so please help us continue to improve even further by completing this questionnaire.

Thank you for your responses, they are clearly wonderfully supportive of the very good teaching and learning we deliver at St John’s. Parents/carers can be reassured that this will continue as we continue to provide the best possible education for all our pupils.

As a result of the questionnaire

We will continue our focus on reading and will promote how to help your child with reading courses and information in the next academic year. We have already strated more 1:1 reading in reception and this will continue. Although we encourage parents/carers to read over the holiday we don’t set homework but children do have their reading books.

The Bug Club and My Maths will continue for Y1 to Y6 pupils as it is so popular with you.

We will continue to send out class booklets and information specifically for English and Maths in September as we start the new curriculum.

More rewards will be given to our children for good behaviour.

Thank you for your help.
