| Briefly describe how the activity / event added to the SMSC experience for the children. | On Monday KS1 enjoyed an African WOW day.
We all watched a video of a little Massai girl and discussed the similarities and differences of her life and our lives. We then took part in different activities: we made African necklaces, we tasted fruit that is grown in Africa, we learned some Swaheli and we learned some African drumming and dancing. We then shared what we had learned in a speaking and listening activity in the Hall. |
